Online marketing is hard to ignore especially when over 3 billion people are on the internet (40% of the world’s population). Do I have your attention yet?

This might seem overwhelming because these are a lot of possible changes that need to be made. If I had to pick 3 things to focus on I’d choose site design, social media, and email marketing. 46% percent of people determine a site’s credibility by it’s design: the way your website looks could be the deciding factor between a customer or not. Social media would probably be my main focus. Facebook has 1.4 billion monthly users and Twitter has 316 million monthly users. There is no better way to communicate with your customers and keep them up to date. According to the infographic, email marketing is 40x more effective than social media. I think it’s safe to say that almost everyone on the internet has a email address, and that’s a lot of potential customers.
