1. Facebook provides its own free tool, Facebook Metrics, which measures how effective your posts are. If you click “insights” at the top of your auto shop’s Facebook page, you’ll have access to the total post reach, number of people who have engaged with your post in any way, and new page likes all within week-to-week periods.

2. Hootsuite offers a similar tool across multiple social media networks where you can track your effectiveness on a whole new level. Not only can you use Hootsuite to track your brand’s growth, but you can also visualize your social demographics to see which gender and region is most interested in your page. Hootsuite additionally shows you sentiment metrics, key influencers in your industry, custom reports, and an insight into which content resonates with your following base.

3. If online analysis systems seem like too much to handle, you can always manually keep track of followers and engagement to see what type of content works and what doesn’t. However, you won’t be able to gain as much detail as all of the analytics listed above.
