Struggling with using Outlook 2013?

Businesses everywhere today utilize some kind of application to retrieve and respond to emails, whether it’s a desktop application or a web application. The most prevalent of all email applications though would be Microsoft’s Outlook. Currently the latest iteration of the popular program is Microsoft’s Outlook 2013 and it may possibly be the worst yet!

Under normal circumstance an upgrade is always welcomed and usually advised for software but with Outlook 2013 it seems like Microsoft had a loaded gun pointed right at their own feet. The enormous company had let out an application that has the biggest flaw an email application could have, it can’t synchronize your mail. More specifically the IMAP protocol that talks back and forth between your devices and the server so you can have you mail and have it backed up in the server.

With such a huge flaw and the large outcry from IT professionals Microsoft tells us that an update is coming to update the program specific bug, but no solution has been presented yet. My advice on the best course of action if you are suffering from this problematic software is to revert back to a previous version of Outlook or using the free software Thunderbird from Mozilla.
