Top 5 Richest NASCAR Drivers of All-Time

Fast cars, fast money. NASCAR drivers can rake in the cash, but who takes the trophy for richest?

  1. Dale Earnhardt Sr. – $70,000,000

The Earnheart bloodline was groomed for speed. Known as “The Intimidator,” Dale Earnhardt Sr. is regarded as one of the best NASCAR drivers of all time, and has won over 75 races, including the Daytona 500. Unfortunately, he lost his life on February 18, 2001 as a result of a last lap crash at the Daytona 500, but since then he has been inducted into multiple Hall of Fames.

  1. Kevin Harvick – $70,000,000

Harvick also holds a Daytona 500 victory, in addition to two Busch Series wins and 47 total wins over 15 years. He currently races for Stewart Haas Racing in the Sprint Cup Series.

  1. Ken Schrader – $75,000,000

Schrader won races across the board for a span of ten years, from ARCA to NASCAR, short track and dirt track. He is known for his diversity in races and sheer volume of victories. He also owns Raceways and Speedways.

  1. Jeff Gordon – $150,000,000

A crowd favorite, and soon to take an indefinite break from racing, Gordon is an incredibly popular and successful driver. He’s captured three Daytona 500 victories in his impressive 23 year career, which includes four Sprint Cups. He is third all-time in Cup wins and is the first NASCAR driver ever to win $100,000,000 in career earnings.

  1. Dale Earnhardt Jr. – $300,000,000

Surpassing his father, the “Pied Piper” of Daytona is the most popular NASCAR driver today. In fact, he won “Most Popular Driver” 11 years straight (2003-2013). But he’s not just popular, he’s successful as well. He’s won Daytona twice and owns his own team JR Motorsports.
